The night before Sunday, police in various parts of the country had to intervene to stop parties that were not justified by breaches of infection control.
This is how the police of the West summarize the night:
– There has been a night marked by many messages about loud music, party noise from private addresses, mainly in Bergen and its surroundings. We have not had a chance to deal with everyone, but the police have closed several parties, they write on Twitter.
The Oslo Police District claims that last night they received 48 reports of party noise from various private addresses, and that 45 of them were in the municipality of Oslo.
– Unfortunately, we were unable to dispatch a patrol to all these incidents. No violations of infection control rules were found at any of the addresses we were at, they write.
100 youth in total
Already late on Saturday night, the eastern police moved to Bodalstranda in Sarpsborg after several complaints about noise from parties.
– When the police arrived at the scene, approx. 100 youths in all directions from the scene, the police wrote on Twitter.
They claim that it appeared to be a Russian holiday and that “many young people were intoxicated.”
The party ended with the police.
Party fight
In Narvik, in Nordland, the police stopped a party after they were first notified of the noise.
It turned out that there were 13 people present and it was not possible to comply with the recommendations regarding infection control, reports the Nordland police district. Neighbors were ordered to end the party, which was accomplished.
In Tromsø, the police had to end a party in Tromsdalen for the same reason: too much noise and lack of opportunities to keep distance between them.
– Many people met
In Finnmark, the police also responded to several reports of unrest in the party. In Alta, the police were notified of many people who had gathered at a party in the Aronnes district. However, when the patrol arrived, most had left the party and the rest were told to leave.
Thousands gathered for a full party
In Alta, there was also a report of noise from one direction in the Elvebakken area.
– Lots of people gathered. The patrol broke up the party, it was approx. 10 people present at the party, wrote the police on Twitter.
In Bjørnevatn, Kirkenes, the police had to end a party with about 30 participants. Party participants received good infection control tips with the purchase.
– I have a moral sermon
Agder police have had to stop two parties in Mandal and Grimstad respectively, but it has not been clarified if this is due to a lack of infection control.
In Agder, the number of infection cases is increasing and Grimstad is one of the municipalities that introduced urgent decisions on Saturday.
Inside, the police moved at 2 o’clock to a party in Rena in the municipality of Åmot after reports of a larger party with many participants in private homes.
Upon arrival it turned out that there were 20 people present. Police write on Twitter that match participants “received a moral lecture on infection control and recommendations.”
Møre og Romsdal also reports on various parties that have been ordered to end police patrols.
