Line Andersen (47) is suing the employer and asking for compensation. The television profile admits that these are difficult days.

According to the media website, the case concerns, among other things, a change in job duties by NRK.
Sports journalist Andersen believes it is an invalid trade termination and is demanding compensation from the state channel.
The 47-year-old has a long experience in NRK-sporten, not least made a name for himself through his chess broadcasts. He also appeared on the May 17 show on NRK and received multiple Gullruten nominations.

According to Journalisten, he has not appeared on screen since 2019.
– There is nothing in the whole world that I would like more than that was not necessary, but it has turned out to be. I have always spoken to some of the best people in the area and we have tried to do everything we can to prevent this from happening. But in the end, there was no other way out, Andersen tells the website.
There he also says that the case is more than that he is deprived of the functions of program manager.

– It was tough. I’m sorry. I have tried to work hard to solve this in every possible way. That’s what my life is really about.

Andersen does not want to elaborate on the duties he has had at NRK in the past two years. It also will not state what type of amount you are requesting compensation, or exactly why you are requesting compensation.
– I wish this was never in public, I have nothing to gain from being in public space. There is no plan behind this. I wish this had never happened.

Andersen’s attorney, Tron Dalheim, tells Journalisten that, as they see it, Andersen has been subjected to a legally untenable process that has been disproportionately onerous for her.
– The case concerns decisions made by NRK, which have important consequences for Line Andersen’s subsequent career, the lawyer tells the website.
Four days have been reserved for the case at the Oslo District Court in mid-May.
– We can confirm that NRK has received a subpoena from Line Andersen. We have had a dialogue with Line Andersen for a long time and we want to find a solution. We don’t want to say anything more now, as we consider this to be a personnel matter, Olav Hypher, NRK’s organizational director, tells VG.

VG asked Line Andersen when he first considered going to court with the case.
