Celebrity website TMZ reports that Hustler’s boss Larry Flint is dead, 78 years old.
Celebrity website TMZ writes that they have family sources that Flynt died of heart failure in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning. The death is also confirmed by his nephew, Jimmy Flynt jr., To the AP news agency.
Larry Flynt has been a notorious figure on the fringe between eroticism and porn for almost 50 years, since he founded Hustler magazine in 1974. He later expanded the concept of Hustler by starting a casino, several strip clubs. and an independent television channel.

Larry Flynt explored the margins of crime early on and sold home fires in Kentucky as a teenager. In 1993, Oliver Stone produced the film «The People vs. Larry Flynt ”which was not a commercial success, but which was applauded by critics and received two Oscar nominations.

Flynt continued to fight constantly with the American police and the judiciary for the rest of his life for defying American laws on pornography and for pushing the concept of freedom of expression to the limit.
Flynt has been in a wheelchair since 1978 after an assassination attempt on him and his attorney.
In 2016, he became the center of attention when he wanted to pay up to 8 million crowns for what he called “scandalous” recordings with former President Donald Trump and his female adventures.
– I have always celebrated women, women of all shapes and sizes. Treating a woman as Trump has is both disappointing and inconceivable, especially when it comes to someone who wants to be our president, Flynt said at the time.
Larry Flynt was married five times and leaves six children.
