It’s not just club salaries that the Liverpool manager earns his living from.
Jurgen Klopp’s huge success in Liverpool has placed him high on the payroll of the highest paid coaches in the world of football.
In February 2020, the German, according to Expressen, was in a third place shared with José Mourinho (Tottenham) on the highest earners in the world. The two are said to have had a monthly salary of 15.8 million in their respective clubs.

In total, the English newspaper writes that the Liverpool manager earns approximately 79 million crowns a year from his private sponsors.
If you add this together with the annual salary, it shows a staggering 270 million kronor a year.
“Made in Germany”
However, Marc Kosicke, an advisor to Klopp, believes that the manager is not greedy, as he only selects German companies that he really values.
– We decided that Jurgen means “Made in Germany”, Kosicke tells The Sun.
– We have managed to ensure that all the companies it promotes are German.

British Sky is the only non-German company that Klopp promotes, but Kosicke says they have made an exception for them, as “it feels like a German company due to its long history as a Bundesliga licensee.”
In addition, the advisor claims that Klopp rejects many more offers than he accepts, to remind fans that he is first and foremost a soccer coach.
