OBERSTDORF (VG) He hardly thought it would happen. But Marit Egner, mother of Halvor Egner Granerud, accepted a real trick if the son took the lead in the World Cup. Now she walks around with bright yellow hair.

Yellow is to know so cult in the Egner Granerud family at this time. The yellow start number belongs to the one that is always at the top of the general list of the best ski jumpers in the world. There is only the Asker jumper, with a magnificent advantage over the German Markus Eisenbichler (142 points), where he has only increased the points advantage since he took over the “leader jersey” after the victory with the Russian Nizhny Tagil. On December 5th.

And mother Marit, granddaughter of popular children’s book author and composer Torbjørn Egner (died 1990), tells VG that she was directly dedicated to acquiring yellow hair color. Two years ago, you made a very special arrangement with your son.

She has shown her hair color screaming on social media. But the “real color” – according to her, yellow reflective vest – must have daylight to highlight it.
