Marte Bratberg withdrew from “Skal vi danse” after Saturday’s semi-final. Thus, Nate Kahungu and Andreas Wahl are ready for the final.

The three celebrities did two dances each, and after a couple semifinal, Wahl and Bratberg had to go out to a dance duel.
In the end, it became clear that Marte Bratberg dropped out of the competition and therefore Nate Kahungu and Andreas Wahl are ready for the final.
– Right now I’m really sorry. Not that I would have expected to go that far, but especially since you’re so close and a week into the whole experience, Bratberg tells VG after the broadcast.
She and her dance partner Benjamin Jayakoddy had already made plans about what they would do if they made it to the final.

– You have to adapt, so that’s what makes it heavier, says Jayakoddy.
Bratberg says that she is very proud of the development she has had and that she cannot thank her dance partner enough.
– Benjamin is a man of miracles. Those who know me are probably sickeningly surprised. I’m the one who trips on the stairs and manages to trip over myself; I’ve walked 16 times on crutches, he says.
– It has been an honor to spend this fall with Mars. We have worked very hard, I have had a great time and I have had a lot of fun. I’m really upset that she doesn’t have a place in the final, adds Jayakoddy.

They say they will miss and dance just the same, but that skipping training has its benefits, too.
– My legs hurt so much that I almost want to cut them off. So in that sense, it may be good not to practice anymore, says Bratberg.
Getting a few extra hours in the eye should be delicious too, she says.
– We have not had time to have a single beer, so now I think we should have a beer, he laughs.

Nate Kahungu and Helene Spilling escaped a dance duel and thus secured a direct spot in the final.

Andreas Wahl and his dance partner Mai Mentzoni were the first to go on stage. Before the broadcast, Wahl told VG that it would be “hot” as they would use flames in the performance.
From the judges, they received 32 points for their first dance and some mixed comments.

He then also recounted how he collapsed during dance rehearsals last week.
– I fell on the parquet and couldn’t breathe.
Wahl said a few hours before the broadcast that he was ready to “give it his all.”
– Tonight I’ll dance like the last thing I do. Now we’ve come this far and I really want to be between the two of them in the final, he says.
