HANGING OUT: Alta’s Outdoor Contact Ann Helen Paulsen reacts to young people hanging out on social media and fears this will make it difficult for young people to get tested.
In Alta, lists of names of young people infected by the crown are now spreading on social media, according to the city’s youth service. – It becomes more difficult to test yourself if you end up on a blacklist, says the external contact in Alta.

Paulsen reacts to young people who are hanging on social media and fears that this will make it difficult for young people to take the test, since they know that there may be a danger that they will pass their time.
– I think it will be more difficult to prove if you can end up on a blacklist, he tells the newspaper.

Alta Mayor Monica Nielsen strongly disassociates herself from the release of the lists.
– I see it as something serious and I am concerned that there may be a threat to the infection trail in Alta. For us, it is essential that people get tested and that good cooperation with infected people continues. This is the only way we can track the infection and gain control, Nielsen tells VG.
The mayor further says that it is already heavy and may be a strain for many to get infected in the first place.
– Where is humanity and the empathy of the infected? We must help everyone to have the best time possible now in society. I am concerned about those who find this difficult.

Nielsen strongly recommends that the practice stop immediately.
– So I encourage you that if they send you such a list, don’t spread it further, but help stop it.
Janne Stang Dahl, director of communications for the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, emphasizes to VG that the dissemination of such information is not legal.
– Unbeknownst to me, sensitive personal health information like this should not be disseminated on social media.
She says it is important to delete the lists as soon as possible.
– I strongly urge that these lists be removed and that this spread be stopped immediately. Nobody wants their information to be spread that way.
