(Motherwell 1-4 Celtic) Mohamed “Moi” Elyounoussi was suspended after using his mobile phone on the bench during the Europa League game against Sparta Prague. On Sunday, he responded to the criticism by hammering three in the Scottish league.
– Completely unacceptable. It is outrageous! Chris Sutton crashed into the BT Sports studio when footage of the Norwegian national team player on Celtic’s bench with his mobile phone in hand rolled across the screen during Celtic – Sparta Prague.
The 26-year-old himself lay down in an interview with VG and stated that he just wanted to check the result of the second match in the Europa League group. Celtic manager Neil Lennon replied that “it would have been better for him if he didn’t,” and that he should handle it.
But when the starting lineup arrived, the name of Mohamed Elyounoussi was still among Lennon’s 11 selected.
And the Norwegian was quick to get Celtic fans to forgive Thursday’s mobile foul.
At eight minutes into the game, he used his knee to make it 1-0, and just twenty minutes after that, the fold to the east had doubled the lead for the Scottish capital team.

Motherwell came up with an answer late in the second half, but then it was only four minutes before Elyounoussi was back in place. This time, the wing flew into the field and stabbed in the hat trick on a Motherwell defender with no chances.
– Look at that moment of Elyounoussi! Jumped, the power. Fantastic! That is very difficult to achieve. Beautiful goal! exclaimed Andy Walker, commentator for Scottish Sky Sports.
Thus, the 26-year-old was able to point three fingers at the camera and prepare for the assignments of the Norwegian national team.
P.S! Kristoffer Ajer also started the game for Celtic. He was substituted in the 78th minute.
