But when the starting lineup arrived, the name of Mohamed Elyounoussi was still among Lennon’s 11 selected.
And the Norwegian was quick to get Celtic fans to forgive Thursday’s mobile foul.
At eight minutes into the game, he used his knee to make it 1-0, and just twenty minutes after that, the fold to the east had doubled the lead for the Scottish capital team.

Motherwell came up with an answer late in the second half, but then it was only four minutes before Elyounoussi was back in place. This time, the wing flew into the field and stabbed in the hat trick on a Motherwell defender with no chances.

Thus, the 26-year-old was able to point three fingers at the camera and prepare for the assignments of the Norwegian national team.
