It is a difficult task to unite AUF climate activists and industry workers. The Labor Party’s latest proposal for district politics testifies that it bids farewell to the latter.

This is a comment. It is the attitude of the writer that is expressed.
Over the past year, we have realized the importance of employment.
Norway’s most important resource is people who work. Therefore, the Conservatives’ top priority going forward is to create more jobs, in more industries, across the country.

A serious warning
The Labor Party’s new district uprising promotes 60 points that Youngstorget politicians say will lift district politics.
The list of points consists, among other things, of several areas of focus in the business field. For example, horse breeding.

Norway’s most profitable district industry, the oil, gas and supplier industry, is notable for its absence. Not mentioned. And that’s a serious warning.
I wonder if LO and the Trade Union Movement agree that this district manifesto brings together the divided poles that Jonas Gahr Støre is trying to appease.
We must achieve the climate goals.

But oil and gas will employ many people over the next few decades. Now it seems as if Tajik and Støre want to turn off the oil tap to show off to Rødt and MDG, who want the oil industry for life.
These are parties that each want to have their own hand on the wheel in trade and district policy, should the Red Greens win the election next year.
In that case, it will be the nail in the coffin of the oil industry, the employees of the industry and the carrying capacity of the welfare society.
Touch anxiety for the oil industry

The pandemic highlights the importance of doing everything possible to preserve and create jobs.
The fact that the former Ap industrial construction party is now afraid of being touched by the oil industry attests that the party has turned significantly towards the MDGs and Rødt.
It may be prudent to create peace in a possible future government consisting of the Labor Party, the Left Socialist Party, the Center Party, the MDGs, and the Red Party.
But it is bad news for workers and for our common welfare.
