The repatriated “Farmen” participant tried to hide the “parting gift” she received after losing Sunday’s game, but was quickly discovered.

It was Tove Moss Lohne who had to leave “The Farm” on Sunday after an intense sawing duel against her friend Inger Cecilie Grønnerød (47).

– I was really surprised that I was going to lose a sawing duel, I was sure I would be better than her, the repatriated participant from “Farmen” tells VG.

After the game, the 35-year-old broke down in tears completely. She compares it to a “pressure cooker” herself.

Did you get this with you? Karianne Vilde Wølner, contestant on “Farmen”, has been on TV before:

– All the emotions came out. But that’s how it is when you are in a stressful situation like that, you never know how you will react. But I have to say that it is a bit embarrassing to show so much emotion on television.

She continues:

– I don’t have a poker face, I’m open and when I feel things quickly become very visible. You are naked and exposed in such an environment, there are many who get it. At the same time, I think it’s good to be able to show emotions and show that you can be vulnerable. When my emotions are out for the first time, I have to stop crying.

What viewers could not see on Sunday was that priest Thor Haavik (26), with whom Lohne also had a very close relationship, handed her a letter, which he asked her to read when she was alone. He tried to hide the “secret” handwriting at his waist, but the production eventually found out, he admits.

But first:

– Thor is a wonderful person. We go for a walk together, we sit and talk about the deep things: the meaning of life and so on. It really had value and it became a break from all the drama there.

BEAUTIFUL WORDS: “You have an unbelievably great ability to see the best in the people around you,” is just some of what Thor Haavik writes in the moving letter to Tove Moss Lohne. Photo: Private

– What can you say about the letter he gave you?

– First I wondered what it was about, but when I read it I realized that he just wanted to tell me how much he valued me as a person. But someone in production had seen him give it to me, and then I had to read it out loud on camera. Fortunately, there was nothing dangerous about it, and no one had any reason to wonder if it was a love letter or if it was something that was happening in “The Farm.” There were only so many positive words.

– Were you “pressed” to read it aloud?

– No, they didn’t pressure me. It became completely natural. I also told Thor afterwards, that I read it out loud and he thought it was okay. There was also nothing there that could not endure the light of day, says the participant, who assures that she had to read the letter after leaving the duel and going up to the forest for a last talk with the presenter Mads Hansen (36).

The letter, which went straight to the 35-year-old woman’s heart, placed it in a Bible she inherited from her great-great-grandmother.

– It fits very well, since he is a priest and since he had in the letter an extract from the Bible. I have told him to stay there as long as he lives.

Earlier this week, it emerged that Lohne’s opponent in Sunday’s game, Inger Cecile Grønnerød, injured her foot while working on the weekly allowance. Lohne sent VG home, telling her that before the second giant pick, she emphasized to Grønnerød that she would not choose the tug of war if she was chosen as the second giant.

– I did not want to use his disability for my own benefit. If I had won a tug of war against someone with a disability, it would not have felt good to win, he says.

It is no secret that there was a very bad atmosphere inside the farm between Grønnerød and this week’s great farmer, Daniel Viem Årdal. Lohne thinks it’s sad that the fight between the two continues outside.

– I’m surprised how everything has escalated. Of course, there are some who are better than others at a game, and both Inger Cecilie and Daniel have probably played a game that started quite early.

Now ask for a ceasefire.

– It has become something that has gradually become quite ugly. This is reality, a “fictional world”, and it is not certain that a person is the same on the outside as on the inside. For my part, life goes on. I think they should cut and take this difficult conversation. Finish it and kill the case.

She describes everything as “a circus”.

– It’s sad for both of them, and I must say that it has been uncomfortable being in the “crossfire” between them. I myself completely distance myself from what happened. “I get tired, because it’s so unnecessary,” “Farmen” contestant Tove Moss Lohne tells VG.
