75 people associated with the New Havyard Ship Technology shipyard in Sogn’s Hyllestad municipality have been diagnosed with corona infection, the company said Thursday.

After an outbreak of infection was discovered in the yard on Wednesday of last week, 495 people were tested for the infection.
The municipality of Hyllestad will keep the patio closed until October 19 inclusive.
Before the shipyard can reopen, the shipyard must have a new infection plan approved with the municipal doctor in Hyllestad, Firda writes.
– Work on this has already started and is extensive. We must prevent this from happening again, says Mayor Kjell Eide to local newspapers.
The yard cannot be reopened until seven days have passed without new cases of infection, writes NRK.
The company warns that the outbreak will lead to further delays in deliveries. The shipyard was in the process of building six ships when the outbreak was known.
