Three clients received second degree cremation after using a solarium in Fredrikstad. The solarium chain suspects sabotage and will report the case to the police.
Two women had been independently in the same solarium, one Thursday and another Friday. They both went to the emergency room to receive treatment for burns.
– It’s absolutely awful. Burns, boils and stings on the skin of the face, hands and arm. I’ve been lying with frozen wok bags on my face to cool my skin, one of the customers, a woman in her 50s, tells Fredriksstad Blad.

The person managing the solarium had contacted her and told her that two of the filters of the four facial suns had been stolen.
The younger of the two, a woman in her 20s, also got 20 minutes of sun in the same room on Friday.
General manager Thorbjørn Frantzen of the solar studies chain claims that they have videos and personal details of a specific person who was in the room in question for an hour and a half.
– Used the sun for 20 minutes. The rest of the time you must have used it to remove the glass filter. He has simply reconnected the security system, says Frantzen, adding that they will report the case to the police.
