Cecilia Brækhus (38) lost for the first time in her professional career when she met American Jessica McCaskill (35). Now it is clear that she wants revenge. Brækhus believes it will be wrong to give in to what she calls “my worst game of her career”.
It appears from a press release Monday night. He claims that Brækhus has implemented his clause in order to demand a revenge meeting, and that it will be “in early 2021.”
There has been uncertainty about what the 38-year-old will do next, but now it is clear that she does not want to leave the boxing gloves on the shelf.
– It was the worst performance of my entire career. I still feel like I won, or could have won a draw, and when I thought about it, I knew I could beat her in a rematch, Brækhus says in the press release.
– I don’t want to give in to the worst fight of my career. I owe it to my followers. If it had been a match where I lost to a better fighter, I would have been in my best shape and given my all, then it would have been fine, I could have endured it, but that was not the case here.
