The pit is aimed at content moderators who reviewed the posts and became mentally ill from the job.
This corresponds to just over NOK 523 million. Employees will receive up to $ 50,000 in treatment costs if diagnosed with, for example, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

The deal, which has yet to be approved by a judge, will apply to more than 10,000 people in California, Texas, Arizona and Florida, who have worked for Facebook since 2015.
The minimum moderator fee is $ 1,000. As part of the deal, Facebook announces that additional steps will be taken to protect the mental health of content moderators.
