The first victim of the 51-year-old mass murderer was apparently not accidental. The first two he killed were his own boyfriend and her new boyfriend, according to police sources, writes the Canadian Cronicle Herald.
The death toll is now up to 23 people, but police believe it will be months before all victims are counted and identified.

Overnight through Sunday, a 51-year-old man, dressed as a police officer and in a fake police car, drove through the small Canadian beach town of Portapique in Nova Scotia.
The 51-year-old man owned two properties along the boardwalk. He lit it, along with several other houses.
When the residents inside the houses tried to leave the searched houses, the author stood outside and shot them.

On leaving the city, the author arrested several cars and shot those who were sitting in them.
Winner of the executed policy
Police believe that the author must have planned everything for a long time. He killed people he knew and random passersby.
A casual victim was the mother and politician of two children, Heidi Stevenson. The author crashed into his car and shot him multiple times. Then he took it out and shot him again several times. He then stole the gun and his car and set his own car on fire.

In Stevenson’s Chevrolet, the author drove through several cities where he killed several passers-by at random.
Twelve hours after the police received the first reports of shooting, the man was finally killed at a service station in an exchange of fire with the police.
Unemployed Corona Dentist
The author has been identified by the police as Gabriel Wortman. He worked as a dentist in Nova Scotia. His clinic, the Atlantic Denture Clinic, was closed due to the crown crisis.

The national police state, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), remains unsure of the author’s motive.
– It is too early to say what could have been the reason. Police did not know him before, said Chris Leather, head of the RCMP of the Canadian newspaper The Globe.
The perpetrator’s friends have said that he was passionate about everything to do with the police profession.
Accountant still dead
Police in Canada are pretty sure they will find more dead in the ruins of the fire. Around 16 sites are being investigated. The country’s prime minister Justin Trudeau made a speech to survivors on Monday.
– Such a tragedy should never have happened. This is deeply tragic, Trudeau said, according to The Globe.

The approximately 100 permanent residents of the coastal city of Portapique, where it all started, are now deeply sad.
– People are in shock. We are a beautiful, calm and peaceful place in the world. Everyone here is warm and caring, and we hope to be remembered that way, said Leonore Zann, a local politician in an interview on Monday.
Canada has a much stricter gun policy than its neighboring United States. The last such massive shooting in Canada was in 1989. At that time, 14 students were shot dead by a man at a Montreal vocational school. This led to a tightening of the gun laws.
