The actor (77) has again been involved in flight problems. The incident will now be investigated.
It all happened at the Hawthorne airport near Los Angeles on Wednesday.
Before Ford boarded a flight, he mistakenly crossed the runway where another plane was about to land, writes the AP news agency.
“He immediately acknowledged the error and apologized to the air traffic control service,” Ford agent Ina Treciokas said in a statement to the news agency.
The reason he was wrong should have been that he heard errors in the tower message. The second plane must have been about 800 meters away.
– No one was injured and there was never a danger of collision, continues the agent.
The incident will now be investigated.
