The Golden Globe winner died at his home in Connecticut. He turned 81 years old.

According to Deadline, the actress passed away on Wednesday. He died at his home in New Haven, allegedly for natural reasons. His agency’s agency has confirmed the death.

Her daughter Elizabeth Dennehy, who is also an actress, writes on Twitter on Thursday:

“It is with great regret that we announced that our father Brian passed away last night for natural reasons unrelated to Covid-19. He was larger than life himself, extremely generous, a proud and devoted father and grandfather. His wife Jennifer, his family and many friends will miss him. ”

Brian Dennehy is a familiar face to movie and television viewers. According to the Imdb Movie Database, he has played in 183 movies and television series between 1977 and 2020. He also had an award-winning theatrical career.

He leaves his wife Jennifer Arnott and their children Cormac and Sarah. Dennehy also has daughters Elizabeth, Kathleen and Deirdre from a previous marriage and leaves several grandchildren.
