The official presentation of the next Assassin’s Creed game is just around the corner, but to spark the curiosity of the audience a little more in advance, Ubisoft decided to release a teaser, and a rather unusual one.

In a live stream on Wednesday, the setting for the upcoming game was revealed in the form of a visual concept art piece that was created from start to finish in real time by artist BossLogic.

The live video lasted several hours, but was also posted in a shorter time-lapse issue of a few minutes. You can see the video at the top of the article.

The trailer reveals, as previous rumors have also indicated, that the setting for the next Assassin’s Creed game is the Viking Age, and the title will be Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

The first official trailer will be released later today, April 30, and we’ll know much more later.

Ubisoft has already given vague clues as to what the next game will be about. As Gamer.no reported exactly a year ago, attentive players uncovered signs on buildings in The Division 2 with clear Viking motifs and the word Valhalla.

As of this writing, no more is known about the upcoming Assassin’s Creed game, but more information will come later today, so just keep the news on.

The latest game in the series was Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which received 8 out of 10 points here.
