Northampton to collect 25-person hats, impose alcohol curfew at 10pm


The 25-person limit for all gatherings with an alcohol curfew is governed by the Governor of Virginia. Ralph North announced on Friday that the new coronavirus is under sanctions.

The new rule replaces the current cap of 250 individuals for events held both indoors and outdoors, according to the governor’s office. Do not go to work or school as a gathering under work order.

Alcohol serving establishments must close by midnight – and on-site liquor sales and consumption will end at 10 p.m.

“Covid-1 is on the rise across the country, and while cases are not growing as fast as some other states in Virginia, I do not intend to wait until then,” Northeim said in a statement. “Everyone is fed up with this epidemic and the restrictions on our lives. I’m tired, and I know you’re bored too. But as we saw earlier this year, these mitigation measures work. ”

Other new restrictions include an extended mask mandate: everyone over 5 must wear a mask in public buildings. The old rule was more than 10 each.

The gym is about 25 people or 75% of the general business of the facility. Recreational sports events will have crowds limited to 30 percent of the venue’s operating capacity, if it has one, or 25 people.

And businesses that fail to meet health and hygiene guidelines will be subject to misdemeanor charges.

The new rules went into effect at 12 noon on Monday and will remain in place until further notice.

Northam’s office fee said an average of 1,500 new cases were reported each day across the state, up from 1,200 in May. The positivity rate is above 5%.

With the latest order, Virginia joins a growing number of states to re-impose coronavirus sanctions, as cases are on the rise across the country.
