Yuzu is a popular switch emulator, Which earlier this week decided to add limited multi-line multiplayer support to its games. A decision that quickly changed.

Not long after announcing the move, The developers posted on the emulator’s blog The service was “disconnected while apologizing to our community for the confusion and frustration surrounding this publication.”

We’re sorry to hear that Yuzu has had support removed indefinitely and immediately. We apologize to our community for the confusion and frustration surrounding this release, and especially for those who are excited to try out this feature.

We’ve received valid and sensible feedback from our fans and members of the wider switch and emulation communities. Honestly, we are all a bunch of enthusiasts from all over the world who are really excited about what we think we can offer. All of a sudden, we understand your concerns 100%.

As always, we will continue to work on other features and improvements within Yuzu to make it the best emulator possible. Thank you to those who have continued our support, have responded to us and are open to constructive discussion on this topic. Now, as always, we value your opinions.

While they don’t specifically list what “sensible feedback” is, one small thing may be that emulators trade on the tenbong of homebreaking, maintenance, or playing games you already own. Don’t play games by playing online fucking games with friends which you have not paid.

Another more general part of the feedback, Yuzu was probably the risks that the service was only made available to their pattern subscribers, effectively creating what could be considered a paid service, Which in turn will sound a huge collection somewhere deep in the bowels of Nintendo headquarters..
