Nintendo seems to be pulling DSiWare games from the 3DS eShop

DSiWare

Nintendo is reported to have removed many DSIWare titles from the Nintendo 3DS Shop without warning fans that the games will disappear.

Takedown was first spotted by a Twitter user comeoutpunching, Who reported that “all DSiWare games released before mid-May 2011 have been disabled.” Shanta in games that are no longer able to buy: Risky Change, Asphalt 4: Elite Racing, A Ra-aura Climber, Dr .. Mario Express, Mr. Driller: Drill Till You Drrop, and many more.

At the time of writing, takedown seems to be the most difficult for North America; Delisted Games Reports that most of the titles removed in that area are still available for purchase in Europe.

After viewing any affected games in Eshop, players are presented with a message that reads, “This software is not currently available.” Given that Nintendo has not yet issued a statement on the disappearing games, it is possible that this is a temporary error that will be resolved – we will make sure to update this story with more information and when we have.

In the meantime, downloading any DSiWare games from 3DS Eshop probably won’t hurt, while you still can. This digital age is a scary one!
