Nintendo

The last six months have been generally quiet for Nintendo. He had big holidays Super Mario 3D All Stars, A collection of three remastered games, and highrule variers: Age of Legacy, Zelda Spin-Off. Will the next six months be different? We will find out on Wednesday.

That’s when Nintendo will host its next Nintendo Direct, A presentation in which the Japanese gaming giant will announce which games you will play on your switch “in the first half of 2021.”

What to expect

Nintendo says we’ll see the news on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, plus we’ll get a good look at the new Pokemon Snap, which is set to release on April 30th. But it’s a minute-by-minute presentation, longer than last July’s Nintendo Direct Mini, so we expect at least one juicy release.

It is possible that we will get more DLC for the Pokemon Sword and Shield, as the second of the two extended packs previously announced was released last October. And some of the previous Mario releases – 3D All-Stars and, earlier this month, YU’s 3D World – are due for a new adventure by our favorite plumber. Of course, there is always the possibility that we will see more breaths of Wild 2.

There’s a chance that “one more thing” advertising may not be a game at all. Rumor has it that the spread of a new, 4K-capable Nintendo Switch has been whispering for months. Not switch lights, but switch heavy. (It will not be called absolute.)

Nintendo Direct launches 2 p.m. And 5 p.m. ET Wednesday, February. 17. If you are UK, You have to wait until then Wednesday at 10 p.m.. For Austral Australian, Nintendo Direct takes place on Thursday, February 18, 18 9 A.E.S.T..
