The Scottish actor, who rose to fame in the UK on the ’80s comedy show and on panel shows such as QI Y Do I have something new for you? died at his home in south London after a heart attack, according to The Guardian.
His agent Alex Irwin of Markham, Froggatt & Irwin said in a statement to Sky News With great sadness we can confirm that on Monday, November 2, actor John Sessions passed away at his home in South London.
“We will miss him terribly.”

Sessions was known for his work on shows like Spit image and cult British comedy Stella street where he acted as Joe Pesci, Roger Moore and Keith Richards, who had settled on a suburban street.
He played two former prime ministers, Harold Wilson in the 2010 film. Made in Dagenham and Edward Heath in Iron Woman in 2011.
His other film credits include Loving vincentBy Florence Foster Jenkins Y Mr holmes, in which he played Mycroft Holmes, the older brother of the famous detective Sherlock Holmes.
