A man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in Auckland has been urged to turn himself in, as police reveal they are also seeking a woman for the alleged murder.

Zane Smith was shot and killed in his car on Wayby Station Rd on November 28.

Police were already searching for Desmond Lawrence Bourne in connection with his death in Wellsford, north of Auckland.

On Wednesday, they said they were also now looking for Serene Tilsley, 21, who is a Bourne partner, and an arrest warrant had been issued for her.

Police have visited multiple addresses in the Auckland region following possible sightings, Detective Inspector Scott Beard said.

Also wanted is a 2005 black Ford Falcon saloon with license plate CTS862 and was reportedly seen in Pakuranga on Sunday morning.

It is the second car the police are looking for in connection with the alleged murder. Anyone who has seen a black Range Rover KBK990, or its occupants, in the Rodney or Northland area in recent days should contact the police.

Beard said officers would do “everything possible” to locate and hold Bourne accountable.

It is considered dangerous and should not be approached, Beard added. Anyone who sees it should contact 111 immediately.
