Two people have died and two people have been injured in a series of accidents that occurred this weekend.

One person died last night after an accident on State Highway 1 in Woodend near Invercargill. The highway was closed earlier today and reopened just before 1pm.
The car entered a ditch on the Bluff Highway near the Waimatua Creek Bridge.
Emergency services were called around 10:25 p.m. and police say the person died at the scene.
Investigations into the circumstances of the accident continue.
In another accident north of Auckland, a second person was killed and another injured after a vehicle rolled over last night.
Police say the accident occurred on “rural land” near Pakiri Road in Leigh and was called around 6:35 pm yesterday.
The person was taken to hospital but later died as a result of his injuries.
Another person has minor injuries, police said. An investigation into the circumstances of the accident is underway.
Meanwhile, one person was seriously injured and another slightly injured, following an accident this morning on State Highway 30, Horohoro, south of Rotorua.
A car rolled into the intersection of SH30, Apirana Road at 10:40 am today, police said.
The road is closed and motorists are asked to avoid the area or expect delays.
Police are on the scene and the Serious Accident Unit is on the way.
Another road is closed after a different accident today in Wellington between a car and a ute.
Police said the accident on Paekakariki Hill Road in Paekakariki Hill was reported around 11:50 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area or wait for delays.
