Guns, methamphetamine, GBL and cannabis were found during search warrants for Auckland properties.
Two men were arrested and firearms and drugs seized by police following search warrants in Auckland on Tuesday.
Police officers executed warrants on properties in Greenlane and Herne Bay following an investigation into the alleged manufacture of methamphetamine.
Detective Sergeant Major Greg Holmes of the National Organized Crime Group said four weapons were found in one of the addresses: a shotgun, a cut off rifle and two pistols.
Ammunition was also found, as well as quantities of methamphetamine, GBL, cannabis and materials allegedly used to make drugs.

More drugs were found at the second address, including a quantity of methamphetamine.
A 38-year-old man is due to appear in Auckland District Court on January 18 facing various charges related to firearms and drugs.
A 45-year-old man will appear in the same court on February 24 to face a possession charge for supplying methamphetamine.
Holmes said investigations were ongoing and police could not rule out whether further charges would be filed.
“This is another successful outcome targeting those allegedly involved in the manufacture of methamphetamine, which we know causes so much harm in our community,” Holmes said.
“Once again, this shows the link between drug offenders and the illegal possession of firearms.”
