Three men have been arrested after a shooting from a vehicle in Christchurch.
Detective Sgt. Craig Farrant said officers were called to report a shooting near Hereford St around 2 p.m. Saturday. Stuff he understands that it was a shooting from a vehicle, with the man shot in the back and arm.
On Sunday morning, police confirmed that two 27-year-old men and a 25-year-old man had been arrested. They are due to appear in Christchurch District Court tomorrow.
Police also believe they have recovered the firearm used during the shooting.

The man injured in the shooting was initially reported to be in critical condition, but police confirmed that he was now stable. He remains in the hospital.
Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident, but still want witnesses to the shooting.
Police remained at the scene of the shooting overnight with a cordon still in place.
On Saturday, police were conducting scene tests at an apartment block at the corner of Hereford and England streets, as well as a property on Emmett St, Shirley.
