Former US President Donald Trump may have come back to life as a private citizen, but his private jet remains parked at New York’s Stewart International Airport, abandoned for a smaller and somewhat newer model.
The plane arrived at New Windsor Airport from LaGuardia Airport in the spring of 2019, hanging from Signature Aviation.
That’s part of Signature Flight Support, a company with more than 200 airport locations around the world, providing “essential support services for commercial and private aviation, including refueling, hangaging, maintenance, repair and overhaul, and a variety of other world-class services. ” amenities with exceptional customer service ”.
A Signature manager did not immediately respond to a request for comment or to verify that Trump or his organization is still renting space to them.

To 2019 Times Herald-Record The article noted that, as president, Trump was using Air Force One for his travels, so the 757 was to be used to transport Trump Organization executives on business trips.
According to CNN, flight logs show that the plane has not been used since Trump left office; instead, it has been relying on an eight-seat Cessna.
CNN he quoted an unidentified “experienced pilot” who had seen the 757 as saying the plane would need substantial work to be safe for flight. CNN He also quoted an aviation analyst as saying that if the plane’s wear and tear is severe, repairs could cost up to a million dollars.
In 2016, the New York Times compared Trump’s red, white and navy 757, with its bold Trump logo on the front and a stylized red T on the tail, to “a billboard on wheels.”
That billboard is now next to a chain-link fence on the north side of the airport, near the FedEx and UPS air shipping centers, with the engines covered in what appears to be white protective wrapping.
The plane is flanked by a variety of aviation equipment and trucks and is only visible to people visiting the shipping companies or the US Postal Service office on the hill.
According to 2019 Times Herald-Record Trump bought the plane from the late Paul Allen, Microsoft co-founder, in 2011.
Trump then had the interior of the plane remade to his liking, installing dark wood paneling, seat belts and 24-karat gold-plated bathroom fixtures, cream leather seats, a 57-inch TV in the lounge, and individual media centers at each seat.
The plane also has a master bedroom, dining kitchen. In its current configuration, it seats 43 people.
However, Trump has another option for air travel: a 2002 Cessna that seats eight.
This isn’t the first time a high-profile, high-priced jet has graced Stewart’s runway. In 1998, Prince Jefri Bolkiah of Brunei, described in a 2011 Vanity fair Article like “the notorious royal playboy of Brunei”, left there an Airbus A300 wide-body aircraft.
The prince had left his own country due to a big gap with his brother, the Sultan of Brunei, for the prince’s waste of spending of approximately $ 15 billion.
The sultan told the US government that the plane had been taken without permission, prompting the involvement of the US State Department, then the US Customs Service, and the Federal Aviation Administration.
