Moli has been charged with murder.

Nepean Police Detective Inspector Jason Pietruska says “the scene was horrible, that’s the only way it can be described.”

CCTV shows Moli mid-morning Sunday outside her home calmly smoking a cigarette.

A taxi pulls up and officers say he soon arrived at the station to make a chilling confession.

“His demeanor was calm, he was practical about what had happened,” says Det Inspt Pietruska.

Geo’s mother says her son got a protection order against Moli last month.

He was not an angel, she says; a year ago, he was accused of assaulting the same woman.

Geo’s family in Auckland is disappointed with the Australian protection order system that they claim failed him.

His mother says, “I know people have their own arguments and stuff, but he was such a humble guy. He didn’t deserve to die like this.”

His alleged murderer Moli has been denied bail.

Helen now faces the daunting task of ordering her son’s funeral from afar, under COVID-19 restrictions.
