Detective Sergeant Scott Armstrong confirmed that police attended an aggravated robbery in Morningside shortly after 7 p.m. Monday.
A larger group approached three teenagers and threatened them at the intersection of Morningside Drive and Sainsbury Rd, about 300 meters from Westfield Shopping Center in St Lukes, he said.
The three teens later had personal property stolen, Armstrong said.
Police were informed that one of the assailants presented a weapon during the incident.
Armed police invaded the area and located the six assailants, all young, at the nearby Morningside train station.
They were arrested and the police located the stolen property.
However, no weapon was found, Armstrong said.
