The agreement will allow Spark Sport customers to purchase the combined service for six months, with the option to renew the plan until May 2022.
Spark will offer Sky’s sports streaming service, Sky Sport Now, bundled with its own online sports service, Spark Sport, starting November 16.
Sky said in a statement to the NZX that the terms of the agreement were confidential, but that the “initial agreement” would be for up to six months.
Spark spokeswoman Lucy Fullarton said the combined service would cost $ 49.99 a month.
Customers who signed up during the six months the offer was available could stay on the plan until May 2022, he said.

Purchased separately, Spark Sport is $ 24.99 per month and Sky Sport Now $ 39.99 per month.
Spark will only sell the package to customers who also have mobile or broadband plans with Spark.
Fullarton described the marketing partnership as “tactical” in nature, stating that it had not been decided whether it would continue any longer in the future.
“At this point it is what it is,” he said.
Since Spark Sport launched in March of last year, it has been speculated that Spark could at some point exit the streaming sports market in favor of a partnership with Sky.
That talk increased when Spark sold its entertainment streaming service, Lightbox, to Spark for $ 6 million in December.
Fullarton acknowledged that the announcement of the sports package on Tuesday could increase that speculation, but said it was about offering more to customers.
Matt Bain, Spark’s chief marketing officer, said it was about offering “flexibility and choice.”
Sky CEO Martin Stewart said partnerships were a key part of Sky’s strategy.
“We are open to working with partners who can help us put Sky in the hands of all New Zealanders, as evidenced by our long-term partnership with Vodafone and our partnership with TVNZ to bring the Tokyo Olympics to New Zealanders,” he said. .
