Champion of the Battle of Jacks Ridge, Shane van Gisbergen.
Supercar star Shane van Gisbergen produced an impressive drive Sunday to win the inaugural battle of Jacks Ridge.
The 2020 Bathurst winner had been fast all day, showing his talents behind the wheel of any car, and posted a staggering 1.20.00 time in the head-to-head final.
Phil Campbell fought valiantly, but couldn’t match Van Gisbergen in front of a crowd of 5,000 at the specially designed venue on former national champion Andrew Hawkeswood’s property in Whitford.
Previously, WRC star Hayden Paddon had set the record time during the first few races before he made a small mistake towards the end of his career in the top eight and hit the bench, throwing him rolling and out of the game event. Paddon was not injured in the incident.

Event host Jack Hawkeswood was third, while Matt Summerfield was also in the top four.
Van Gisbergen proved to be a popular winner and said he would love to do more rallies if his Supercars boss allows it.
“All these days have been really great,” said Van Gisbergen, delighted.
“I had a great time and learned a lot about rallying, thanks a lot to Dad, the Ralliart New Zealand team and my co-driver Brianna.”
