Jurassic Park Star Sam Neill has revealed that fellow actor Michael Fassbender “took offense” at having a rooster named after him.
Appearing on a talk show This morning to promote the release of your film in the UK Rams, the conversation centered on Neill’s practice of naming animals after famous people.
The Kiwi actor, who owns farmland and “four little vineyards” in Central Otago, has named animals after Helena Bonham Carter, Graham Norton and Imogen Poots.
But Neill revealed that one actor did not like the ritual.

“I’m a little embarrassed about that now,” Neill said. “I will not say his name because he was offended.
“Not everyone is happy to be named after a …” Neill added.
The hosts quickly moved away from the topic and decided to talk more about Neill’s return to the Jurassic Park movie franchise.
But after initially discussing the film and its appeal, Neill relented.
“It’s Michael Fassbender actually. I might as well tell you it’s Michael Fassbender, ”Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby told presenters.
“I have so many follow-up questions on this, but I’m not sure we’re allowed …” Willoughby added.
Neill declined to reveal more about what Fassbender said about the honor.
The couple starred together in the 2007 film, Angel.
