Giggs had reportedly been dating his current partner Kate Greville since 2018, following the breakdown of their marriage amid sensational revelations that he had been having an eight-year affair with his brother’s wife Rhodri.

Giggs spent his entire playing career with Manchester United, making 672 appearances and scoring 114 goals in 23 Premier League seasons with the club.

During that time, he won an incredible 13 Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups, and two Champions Leagues.

Having briefly managed United on an interim basis following the sacking of David Moyes in April 2014, Giggs took his first steps in management when he replaced Chris Coleman as Wales coach in 2018.

The Wales FA issued a statement on Sunday night (Monday NZT) confirming that the team’s announcement for Wales’ upcoming matches against the United States, Ireland and Finland on Tuesday (Wednesday NZT) would now be postponed in the wake of the disclosures.

Wales will face the United States in a friendly in Swansea on 12 November. It’s unclear if Giggs will be able to remain in charge.
