Here in New Zealand, we seem to love our Mazda presses more than any other country, but the passion for these noisy little mills extends far beyond the confines of the long white cloud.
Recently a barn full of old rotary Mazdas popped up online, with the owner planning to sell everything inside, so he can get a bargain.

As with most barn finds, all vehicles are covered in a thick layer of dust and appear to have been unmoved for several years. Despite this, almost all the cars appear to be in good condition.
From the posted images we can see some RX-7s, FB and FC generations, a 323 wagon, a modified RX-3, and a couple of highly sought after SPARE PARTS.
There are also a couple of other brands included in the mix that are described as “Rotary Toyotas and Datsuns,” which means their traditional bundles would have been swapped out for rotary engines at some point.
We can also see a classic Mini and an old Beetle being added to the mix, which are probably not rotary, but we can dream.
Our pick from the bunch would probably be that unmodified yellow ute REPU, or the extremely wide FB RX-7, as we’d love to see what’s under the hood of that beast.
