Princess Eugenie moves into Prince Harry and Meghan’s home in the UK

Prince Harry and Meghan have agreed to share Frogmore Cottage with Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie.

According to Sun, the princess and her husband Jack Brooksbank, who are expecting their first child in early 2021, moved into the five-bedroom house in Windsor two weeks ago.

The Sussexes’ belongings were reportedly packed up and shipped to their new home in Santa Barbara, California, where they have been since March.

“Moving trucks got up in the dead of night and cleaned the cabin. They definitely didn’t want to be seen, ”a source told the newspaper.

Announcing their intention to leave royal life, Prince Harry and Meghan said that they would continue to use the Queen’s Frogmore Cottage as their official residence in the UK.

According to SunPrince Harry and Princess Eugenie had reached some sort of private agreement on residency, without involving any member of the higher royalty.

A source said the handing over of Prince Harry and Meghan’s keys was a “pretty strong sign” that the couple had no plans to return to the UK.

“It seems they are tying up loose ends as they plan to extend their stay in the US. Perhaps permanently.”

A spokesman for Buckingham Palace told the publication: “Frogmore Cottage is the private residence of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and as such any arrangement is their own business.”

In September, it was reported that Prince Harry and Meghan had repaid £ 2.4 million pounds (NZ $ 4.7 million) in British taxpayer money that was used to renovate Frogmore Cottage, as part of a deal made when the couple decided to withdraw from its actual functions.
