Prince Harry’s move to the United States with Meghan Markle was the “best decision he has ever made” and he feels “liberated,” according to a source.

The friend said the 36-year-old prince “has no regrets” about his new life in California with Meghan, 39, and Archie.

“Harry has no regrets,” the source told Us Weekly.

“He feels liberated and excited to start this new chapter.”

According to the source, Prince Harry believes that moving to the United States “is the best decision he has ever made.”

Although he was eager to embark on a new life, Harry hopes his relationship with the royal family will one day recover, according to the source.

“Harry finds the situation with his family regrettable,” said the source.

“But he says [they have] They have no regrets about moving … and that things are just beginning for them. “

Meghan and Harry gave up their royal duties and stopped wearing their HRH styles on March 31 of last year.

Couple embracing a new life in California

The Sussexes, who are expecting a baby girl in the summer after a miscarriage last year, have embraced their new life in California, away from the monarchy.

They have secured lucrative multi-million dollar deals with Netflix and Spotify and have established their Archewell philanthropic foundation.

The couple bought their Montecito property for $ 14.5 million and have said they “want adequate time off” when their baby is born, according to reports.

The baby will be the first royal to be born in the United States and sources have told Vanity Fair that the couple want to “say goodbye” and spend “adequate time together as a family.”

It comes after Harry recently revealed his new role as an executive at a Silicon Valley start-up.

The Duke of Sussex will serve as Chief Impact Officer for BetterUp, a $ 1.82 billion mental health services company.

Harry will help promote an app used by corporate giants, including Facebook, to improve staff well-being.

Users scroll through the profiles of therapists and life coaches, much like the dating app Tinder, and select a match.

Alexi Robichaux, CEO of the Silicon Valley startup, also revealed that the duke decided to leave his royal titles in the workplace, but kept his salary and working hours a secret.

Similar roles in California companies can demand six- or seven-figure salaries.

Robichaux told the BBC: “He has been in the role for a couple of months now and we are very excited to share the news with the world.”

“We are partners here, he likes to be called Harry in the workplace, so we address him as Harry.”

He added that his team was “honored” to have Duke working with them in the role he took on months ago.

It comes shortly after he was introduced as a commissioner on information clutter at the Aspen Institute, a US think tank.

Harry’s new jobs raise questions

Harry now has two radio and television jobs and projects in the United States, raising questions about how he obtained a visa.

But his work with Invictus Games for injured squads could potentially qualify him, and his recent explosive interview with Oprah made millions for the television industry.

Royal experts have also claimed that palace officials will keep a close eye on Harry’s new work.

Russell Myers told True Royalty TV’s The Royal Beat: “There is an argument that if he is ‘Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex’ in all materials published for [the firm], Is that exchanging the royal brand that they said they wouldn’t do to uphold La Reina’s values?

“So it’s very moot right now. People in the Palace will be watching this very, very closely.”

Throwing ‘bomb’ at the royal family

Royal author Penny Junor claimed that Harry and Meghan “dropped a huge bomb” on the royal family during their first year of Megxit.

She said the explosive accusations during her interview with Oprah struck “the heart of the institution” a year after they left real life.

Junor, author of Prince Harry: Brother, Soldier, Son, Husband, said: “When Harry and Meghan left a year ago, people were shocked and disappointed because they were such a great couple.

“Harry was a very popular royal and Meghan was a great asset to the family.

“A year later, I think a lot of people are really angry and think they have betrayed their family and dropped a huge bomb at the heart of the institution and attacked the UK as well.”

The Sussexes’ explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey threw the royal family into one of its worst crises in generations earlier this month.

Meghan said an unidentified royal, neither the Queen nor the Duke of Edinburgh, raised concerns with Harry about how dark her son Archie’s skin tone might be before he was born.

The duchess also said that she “no longer wanted to be alive” and that she had suicidal thoughts during her time as a member of royalty, but was not supported by the institution when she asked for help.

Harry said he felt “let down” by his father, the Prince of Wales, cut off financially by his family in the months before Megxit, and shared his shock at losing his taxpayer-funded security.

Harry also claimed that William and his father were “trapped” by their royal responsibilities.
