Police searching for missing man Raymond Horn would like to speak to two people who were in Queens Park, Invercargill, at around 2:20 pm on Monday, February 15th.

Horn, 68, disappeared on February 15 from an Invercargill nursing home, and the last sighting of him was near a playground in Queens Park at 2:20 p.m., when he was in a state of turmoil.

Senior Sheriff David Loader said police wanted to locate the two people seen in the park at the same time.

“We hope you have seen Raymond and can help us continue to build a timeline of his movements.”

Last Friday, Detective Alun Griffiths said Horn’s family had indicated that they now believed he was dead.

The police had such serious concerns for the man with dementia, who could not speak.

Now he’s been missing for 15 days.

Horn was captured on a dairy farm’s CCTV camera around 9.40 a.m. on the day he disappeared, about two hundred yards from his unit at Walmsley House Rest Home.

A camera captured him walking north past the Queens Park roundabout at 10:20 a.m., toward the north edge of the park and then heading south past the roundabout again two hours later.

The Waihopai River, a waterway some 940 meters from the park at its closest point, was surveyed, and ponds were also drained in Queens Park.
