On Wednesday, police began searching Mangaone Stream, in an area bounded by the Milson Line, Rangitikei St and Apollo Pde.

A police spokeswoman said people had reported seeing Poudel there, although police have yet to find any sign of him.

As the possible sightings came in, the police were reconstructing a possible timeline of Poudel’s movements, but they still needed more information to pin it down.

Poudyel said it gave him hope that people would call in with sightings. Every day she goes out with her family and friends to look for her father.

He appreciated the help of the police with their efforts and the clear daily updates, he said.

Anyone with information can call the police at 105 and quote file number 201024-3032, or contact Poudyel at 020 4089 7628.
