Nicki Minaj shares the first photos of her son, known only as ‘Papa Bear’

Nicki Minaj brought in the new year by sharing one of her biggest blessings of 2020 with her followers.

On Saturday, the rapper posted multiple photos of her son on Instagram.

“#PapaBear thank you so much for choosing me to be your mom. I wish you a happy and prosperous New Year,” Minaj wrote in the post.

This is the first time fans have seen Minaj’s new baby.

Although he decided to give the world a glimpse of his son, he falls short of revealing his name, choosing to call him “Papa Bear”.

Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, welcomed their son into the world on September 30, 2020.

At the time, the world was fending off a deadly pandemic and was also experiencing social and racial tensions. Through her personal experience, Minaj understands how difficult it can be trying to have a healthy pregnancy during these times.

This prompted her to send “big hugs” to the “superhero moms” who have tackled the task.

“Being a mother is by far the most satisfying job I have ever taken on,” the rapper continued.

“Sending love to all superhero mothers. Big hugs to all women who have been pregnant during this challenging time.”
