New Zealand captain Kane Williamson has marked another century of testing at Seddon Park.
A fifth ton of testing at Seddon Park has seen Black Caps captain Kane Williamson increase his lead as New Zealand’s most prolific creator of the century.
Williamson achieved his twenty-second century test cricket on Friday morning in Hamilton on the second day of the first test against the West Indies.
Resuming his innings in 97, the 30-year-old regained his century with a signature back foot boundary shot through the point after 15 minutes of play to move to 102.

His 22nd test ton puts him three ahead of New Zealand’s next best player, Ross Taylor, who fell early in the second day to 38.

Williamson has compiled a remarkable record at Seddon Park. Today’s all-time score was his fifth century in 17 innings at Hamilton’s field, with those centuries including a double ton against Bangladseh all within his last 10 bats here.
He started the day with an 83.38 average at Seddon Park.
