CCTV captured three men in a black van arriving at Marion Ave, Mt Roskill, moments before the Feb. 29 shooting.
Police investigating a shooting in Auckland that left three seriously injured have released CCTV of three men arriving in a black van shortly before the incident.
On February 29, police found three men injured after being called to Marion Ave in Mt Roskill around 7.40 a.m.
All three had received gunshot wounds and their injuries ranged from critical to serious.
A dark-colored SUV was seen speeding from the Marion Ave area shortly after the incident.
Eight months later, Avondale Police acquired CCTV of three men and a black van.
The video, posted on Police ten 7 Thursday, it shows three men hitting the street in the van just moments before the shooting.
They were then caught running back after the time of the shooting, police said.
“As these men match the description given by the victims, the police would like to speak to anyone who recognizes them or to the black van in which they arrived.
“Firearms will not be tolerated in our community and the police need your help to bring those responsible to justice.”
Police said the first victim encountered by the gunmen was immediately shot and sustained permanent injury.
Upon hearing the shots, the other two victims went to see what was happening and also shot them.
They were seriously injured.
