Acting Detective Inspector John Brunton describes a major police operation targeting the distribution of MDMA (video first posted October 29, 2020).
Detective Sergeant Brett Shields said police remained focused on organized crime groups that benefited from the supply of methamphetamine to the most vulnerable members of the community.
“The police will attack anyone who is involved in the manufacture and distribution of illicit drugs.
“The number of high-powered firearms seized indicates a willingness to intimidate and be violent for illegal activity,” Shields said.
