The Waikato Organized Crime Squad, with the support of the AOS, completed five search warrants directed at addresses linked to the Mongrel Mob in Hamilton.
Police arrested two members of the Mongrel Mob in a series of raids that found firearms and drugs.
The Waikato Organized Crime Squad and the Armed Criminal Squad completed five search warrants in Hamilton on Thursday.
As a result, a 38-year-old man faces charges of participation in an organized crime group, conspiracy to supply methamphetamine and possession of cannabis for supply, Waikato Criminal Investigations said, Detective Inspector Graham Pitkethley said.
A 22-year-old man is charged with perverting the course of justice, possession of methamphetamine for supply, illegal possession of a pistol, illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition, supply of MDMA (Class B) and possession for supply MDMA (SECOND Class). “

They are due to appear in Hamilton District Court today.
“Today’s arrest warrants saw the seizure of firearms, ammunition, cash, methamphetamine, cannabis, and the recovery of a stolen Harley Davidson motorcycle,” Pitkethley said.
