The contract includes the option for Canada to extend the contract term for up to four additional one-year periods under the same conditions.
The dependency on Canadarm2 and Dextre, the world’s most sophisticated space robot, for the maintenance of the International Space Station has been steadily increasing. MDA ensures the operational readiness of the MSS robotics, provides training to robotic operators, and supports real-time operations and operations planning.
