Has the bubble finally burst? The VERY unexpected number of official complaints received by Casado at first glance this year revealed
Married at first glance, it is Australia’s most controversial reality show.
But viewers seem no longer surprised by the drama, as this year’s season sparked just six complaints to the Australian Communications and Media Authority.
While the sixth season in 2019, with characters like Jessika Power, generated a lot of complaints, the seventh season did not provoke the same reaction or outrage.

ACMA, which oversees broadcast regulation, confirmed that they had only received half a dozen complaints this year from The Sunday Telegraph.
Each complaint has been sent to Nine, and none has been investigated by ACMA.
“Under the co-regulation system, ACMA will refer claimants to the station in the first instance,” ACMA said in a statement.
‘If the complainant does not receive a response from the station within 60 days, or is dissatisfied with the response, they can forward their complaint to ACMA. We have not yet received any complaints that have returned from the station. ‘

‘Married at first sight is a classified program. Some complaints have been over whether the program had been accurately classified, ” the ACMA said in April.
They added: “ACMA has also received complaints expressing concern for the well-being of contestants on the show.”
Are fans no longer surprised? This year’s MAFS featured a lot of drama. Most memorable when David Canon used ex ‘wife’ Hayley Vernon’s toothbrush to clean the toilet
Despite the lack of complaints, this year’s MAFS featured a lot of drama.
Most memorably, David Canon used ex-wife Hayley Vernon’s toothbrush to clean the toilet, which she tearfully admitted she used after the vile act of revenge.
Although the scene sparked outrage on social media at the time, it appears that not many felt compelled enough to officially complain, and they quickly continued.
It comes after viewers began to disconnect from ratings reached this year, with the ending delivering 1,951 million viewers in April, up from 2,611 million the year before.
