The body of a man has been found in this industrial area of Hastings.
Police are investigating the death of a man in an industrial area in Hastings.
Police were called to an address on Plunket St in the Saint Leonards suburb around 10:40 a.m. Monday, police said.

The body was found in small bushes on a vacant lot of industrial land near the intersections of Plunket and Stortford streets.

Police at the scene declined to comment on the matter, however a spokesman said investigations were underway to establish the circumstances of the death.
The coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will be conducted, police said.
A spokeswoman for St John Ambulance said the service was unable to release any information about the incident.
