Blake Walker, 19, has not been heard from since Friday.

A 19-year-old homeless man has been found who had not been heard from in more than four days.

It is understood that Blake Walker was alone when he was expected to make his way to the Longwood section of the Te Araroa Trail, in Southland.

Police confirmed Blake’s disappearance.

A post shared on the Tramping in New Zealand Facebook page says the last communication with Walker was on the beach section of the trail before Riverton.

In a Facebook post, Weatherall says: “The Blake family would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who contacted and provided information. We are very fortunate to have a very supportive and supportive walking community, also a big thank you to the Southland community overall! Thank you very much. “

Walker’s family had not heard from him since Friday and were concerned and began posting messages on Facebook to locate him.

A police spokesman said police had not initiated a search and rescue, but had been investigating throughout Wednesday.
