ACT leader David Seymour retains Epsom by nearly 9,000 votes.
Labor’s Jamie Strange retains Hamilton East by a 2,000 vote margin.
Gaurav Sharma of Labor wins Hamilton West by 4,400 votes.
11:32 pm: Maori Party co-leader Ngarewa-Packer has given her concession speech. Labor Rurawhe leads by more than 1000 votes in Te Tai Hauāuru with 98% of the votes counted.
Ngarewa-Packer says he will return in 2023 and remain co-leader.
11:29 pm: Collins retains his seat in Papakura by a margin of nearly 6,000 votes. But Labor won the electorate vote for the seat.
Luxon moves on into Botany, a national fortress But the seat has also turned red for party voting, the first time since the seat was created.

Swarbrick seeks to win Auckland Central, with 98.8% of the votes counted.
Hehir says there are signs that national voters have waited to cast their vote. Labor supporters, meanwhile, got out early and knew who they were supporting, he says.
11:14 pm: National’s Andrew Bayly retains Port Waikato (formerly Hunua) by 4,250 votes.
Labor’s McAnulty wins the Wairarapa seat previously held by National by 5,400 votes.
National’s Jacqui Dean wins Waitaki by 3,100 votes.
