The Green Party has reorganized its caucus portfolios, handing over financial portfolios to Julie Anne Genter and Chlöe Swarbrick.
Genter will take over the finance portfolio from co-leader James Shaw, who was an associate finance minister in the last government.
Swarbrick will take over the revenue portfolio, take over the economic development of co-lead Marama Davidson and maintain the small business.
She will also sit on the high-powered Finance and Spending committee.

Genter will also have the new Covid-19 response portfolio, which coincides with a new portfolio created in the Labor and National parties, as well as Transport, of which she was associate minister in the last Government.

Genter is expected to be elected vice chairman of the Transportation Select Committee, as part of the Green Party’s deal with the Labor Party.
The new deputies Teanau Tuiono, Dr. Elizabeth Kerekere and Ricard Menendez March have acquired important portfolios.
Tuionio takes education from Swarbrick, Kerekere Health from Genter, and social development from Menendez March de Jan Logie.
Logie will be the fundraiser for the match, the equivalent of a whip, and will have the portfolio of Workplace Relations and Safety.
Former Conservation Minister Eugenie Sage maintains the conservation portfolio and picks up the environment. She is expected to be elected president of the select committee on the Environment, again as part of the cooperation agreement with Labor.
The Green Party has three new MPs for two new posts this term, as MP Gareth Hughes withdrew in the election.
Shaw said the lineup represented a strip of real-world experience.
“In ten MPs there is a small business owner, a human rights lawyer, an academic, a climate negotiator, a transportation planner and much more,” Shaw said today.
